Amloc (Amlodipina Besilate) Use
Amloc (Amlodipina Besilate) is a type of medicine called a long-acting calcium channel blocker (CCB). Amloc (Amlodipina Besilate) is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and is also used to treat angina. Angina is often a pain or pressure in your chest that keeps coming back when part of your heart does not get enough blood.
Amloc (Amlodipina Besilate) Dosage
In general, Amloc (Amlodipina Besilate) is taken once a day, with or without food. You can take Amloc (Amlodipina Besilate) with most drinks, including grapefruit juice. It may be easier to take your dose if you do it at the same time every day. For example, take it with breakfast, dinner, or at bedtime.
Amloc (Amlodipina Besilate) Side Effects
Some people have side effects. The most common ones are swelling in the feet or ankles, headache, feeling tired, or feeling dizzy. You should tell your healthcare provider if you have any side effects.
Amloc (Amlodipina Besilate) Precautions
Women should not breast-feed while taking Amloc (Amlodipina Besilate). It is not known if Norvasc will pass through breast milk. You also should not start any new drugs or supplements, unless you check with your healthcare provider first. This means drugs that are prescribed and those you buy off the shelf. |
