• Azithral® (Azithromycin) is used for the treat of bacterial infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, skin infections and is also used for the treatment of Chlamydia.
• Azithral® (Azithromycin) is sometimes used as a preventative for the condition known as Mycobacterium avium complex in patients with HIV.
• Azithral® (Azithromycin) works by inhibiting the bacteria's ability to reproduce, making it more difficult for the infection to spread.
