Buspirone HCl

Use
This is the generic of BuSpar. Buspirone HCl is an Antianxiety agent, used primarily for relief of mild to moderate anxiety and nervous tension. This drug is useful in treating the elderly, alcoholics, or people that have a history of addiction.

How to take it:
Actual dosage must be determined by a physician. Start dosage is usually 5mg 3 times daily.

Side effects:
Some people experience side effects like dizziness, nausea, headache, nervousness, lightheadedness, and excitement. These side effects are usually not serious enough to make most people stop taking Buspirone HCl.

Precautions:
Buspirone HCl works gradually, over a 2 to 4 week period, to provide effective relief of generalised anxiety disorder symptoms. It is prudent to avoid using Buspirone HCl and alcohol at the same time.
