How does it work?

Proluton Depot® | Proluton Depot (Delalutin) 250mg/ml, Hydroxyprogesterone hexaxnoate is a synthetic hormone similar to the natural female sex hormone progesterone. It is used in the prevention of spontaneous abortion in women with a history of recurrent miscarriage (habitual abortion). Spontaneous abortion occurs when the body's levels of progesterone drop below the required level to maintain pregnancy. Therefore hydroxyprogesterone is used to maintain these levels and prevent miscarriage.

• Diabetes
• Monitor the medication level in the blood during pregnancy

Not to be used in

• Current or previous liver cancer
• History of herpes infection during pregnancy

This medicine should not beused if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients.
